Luke 1, Isaiah 1, 2

Scripture
Luke 1:45 Blessed woman, who believed what God said, believed every word would come true!
Luke 1:46 And Mary said, I'm bursting with God-news;

Observation
Mary was filled with such joy because she had a visit from an angel, but not only that she was visited by the angel, but she was filled with joy because she believed what the angel told her. Therefore, she was blessed becaused she believed.

She could have so easily chosen not to believe and missed out on the blessings. God's Will would have still been done and Jesus would probably still be brought into this world by another person, but Mary would have missed out on the blessing of being a part of this miracle.

Application
I do not want to live a life of disbelieve, I want the word of God to be alive as I read it cos I already know that this is a living, breathing word of God. So if I know that it's the word of God, then why do I sometimes read the word like it's just a ficticious storybook. I want to be like Mary and trust in the word of God, I want to be "bursting with God-news", cos the good news is already here, right in front of me.

Prayer
Lord, I thank you for your word that was written for me. I thank you for giving me the Holy Spirit to guide me as I read your word. Lord I want to be thirsty for your word, I want your words to be real in my life. Teach me to read your word, teach me to be teachable. I believe in the work that you are doing through in my life and I for the strength to trust in your will for me.

"Please take from me my life, cause I don't have the strength, to give it away to you."
