Scripture
Isaiah 6 : 7-8

With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has
touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your
sin atoned for."
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall
I send? And who will go for us?" And I said,"Here am
I. Send me!"

Observation

When king Uzziah died, Judah can either remain as a
unique kingdom of God or a fatal turning away from
God. Upon God's cleansing of Isaiah's sin, Isaiah
volunteered to serve the Lord. The task is not easy,
but he is going to do it.


Application

I just felt that this passage spoke to me so strongly.
Somehow, I can just use the whole chapter to relate
what had happened to me recently. Frankly, I feel that
my level of faith is still not as high as I would like
it to be. So when something happened to my
relationship( when King Uzziah died), my path with God
can remain the same , or I can go for the worse. But
for this few days, i just felt God's love and
affirmation, and i want to serve the Lord. Recalling
my chat with Terence about two week ago, i just felt
that God is telling me, im ready, im ready for
something big out there, no matter how diffcult the
task is, how much commitment i need to put in, i am
ready to serve the Lord.

Scripture
Luke 3: 15-16

The people were waiting expectantly and were all
wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be
the Christ. John answered them all, "I baptize you
with water. But one more powerful than I will come,
the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.

Observations

John prepares the way for christ. He teaches people of
what is right, teaches people what we should do. It
came to a point where people starts to question can
John be the Christ himself. But to John, he knew that
he is not even worth to be compared to Jesus.


Application

>From this scripture, I just feel like I know so little
about Jesus and at the same time, i want to learn so
much more. We all can do the right things but we will
never be the same as God. I just hope to be like John,
to do as much as possible for God and always shine for
the Lord.

Prayer

Dear heavenly God father, I thank you for giving me
such a blessed life. I am so gladful for things that
happened during the past weeks father. Father what am
i its your gift to me, but what i become father, is my
gift to you. Father i thank you for your affrimation
that I am ready to serve you father and I thank you
for giving such wonderful bunch of people. Thank you
you for putting them into my life so that I can learn
more about you and help me grow as a person.
Father I just pray that throughout the week you will
shower your blessing to each and everyone of them. So
much so that whatever we do father, we always had you
in our minds. I pray all these in jesus most precious
name. Amen
