Luke 24, Isaiah 47,48

Luke 24:25-16
He said to them,"How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?"

Observation
The dream of Jesus's followers died along with their leader on the cross. The dream of "the one who was going to redeem Israel". That was why they were slow of heart to believe all Jesus have spoken. When jesus speak to them as a stranger, Jesus speaks life into his two followers. So much so that, they asked Jesus to stay for dinner.

Application
Sometimes when I read the bible and hear what people have to say about Jesus, my heart is slow to believe. It is the same as Jesus's followers. Why is this so? I believe it is due to the mere fact that what Jesus has been doing its just so unbelievable. From his resurrection to what he is doing in my life now. Ironically, what Jesus is doing now in my life, only made my faith grew stronger. What he did in the past is unbelievable, but what he is doing now is just as powerful and meaningful.

Prayer
Lord, as I come before you today, I just ask for stronger faith Lord. What you did seem so impossible for us human being to comprehend Lord. So Lord, I just pray to see bigger picture in my life Lord. Let me see how you want to use me father. Father, fill me up, father if Im down, lift me up father. Father I just prayed for renewed strength, renewed power to go about doing your work father. Father, I thank you for this easter break, thank for the rest that you have gave to each and everyone of us father. Father, I pray for self discipline father, pray that I know what things to do at that paticular time father. Father, as I leave this week in your hand, father I just pray that my bunch of friends will continue to receive blessings that you had showered upon them. Pray all these in Jesus name. AMEN.
