Scripture
Luke 3:16
John answered their questions by saying "i baptize with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than i am - so much greater that i am not even worthy to be his slave. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Observation
John has been preaching that people should be baptized to show that they had turned from theirs sins and turned to God to be forgiven. Everyone is expecting John of being the Messiah.

Application
When reading this i just sensed inside me something so big, something so powerful & fulfilling. it was the way i speak to others about Christ & my leadership qualities. often we can get caught up with the pointing of the finger to others that we want to see grow! 'why didnt u come to church',
'why arent u here', 'where are you' .. but as John showed there is something so much greater out there. A man who will bless us all, and it is not me who will lead these people to Christ but the lord himself.


Scripture
Isaiah 7: 9-10
And he said, "yes go. but tell my people this: 'you will hear my words, but you will not understand. You will see what i do, but you will not percieve its meaning.

Observation
Isaiah has been cleaned and a calling has been offered to him for Israel. The calling of being a messenger for the Lord.

Application
Being a new leader at ACCF - i feel that there is so much more growth that is needed in me. i feel there is is alot to come and alot more words and meanings that i will not understand. its also clear that i am not scared of growing cause there are friends like u guys that are helping me. im so honoured to have the experience of journey with each & everyone of you guys.

Pray
Heavenly Father, thank you for everything that you have brought to me. Friends, family & life. i pray that you will just strap me up with armour and hand me a sword so that you can use me in battles. let me speak thru you & use your words father. let me face up to my growth, knowing there is so much more to go dear father. may every person that i speak to be blessed by your words. thank you for everything father. blessed this week n make us strong. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
